A body fitting can be done on a road, mountain or hybrid bicycle. Starting with a pre-fit physical assessment, your fitter will take into account your body’s limitations, previous injuries and pains, and your goals on the bike. We adjust seat fore and aft, seat height, handlebar height, and stem length.
For a road bike with clip on aero bars. Starting with a body fitting and getting your road bike set up in the best possible position we then add aero bars to this picture and combine the two together for the best of both worlds.
This fitting is a two part process with the first visit crafting the best hypothesis of your ideal position. The second visit allows use to review how you are doing and what changes you may need. 2.5 hrs on the first visit and 1 hr for the second visit.
Cleat fits are done on existing bikes. Taking into account your specific needs we look at the alignment of the hips, knees, feet. We then use special tools to be able to understand your body’s alignment. We may use shims or wedges under your cleats or footbeds inside your shoes to help us align your body correctly.
Retül Fit is more than just a bike fit, it’s a way to learn about your body, the root cause of your aches and pains, and how a proper fit will help you achieve your cycling goals. Starting with a pre-fit physical assessment, your fitter will take into account your body’s limitations, previous injuries and pains, and your goals on the bike. From there, we turn to our Vantage Motion Capture System to collect real-time, three-dimensional data from your pedal stroke. This data is then compiled into our system so that your fitter can look at your numbers and dial you into your perfect ride position.
